So went to the gym this morning to do my first session of interval training and dear lord I died on my arse. I knew it was going to be hard but eff me. I didn’t manage to finish the whole session at full pace but I spose that is the point of it. It’s not supposed to be easy at first but if I dig deep and keep at it then it’ll get easier as I get fitter. Hopefully that’s sooner rather than later! 

So competitive

My competitiveness is ridiculous. I was talking to my friend today and he told me he went for a run and did 3 miles in 20 minutes. Now I won’t stop training until I can do the same because I always feel like I want to be the fastest. Looks like it’ll be a long month training for me before I’m close to that though. I love it though because when I really get my mind set on something like this I won’t quit until I can do it. Such good motivation to push, push, push myself! 

Interval Training

Going to start interval training tomorrow. Been stuck in a bit of a training rut recently. I just seem to plod along, burning calories yes, but not getting any fitter. So tomorrow I will start interval training to up my fitness levels! And the sad thing is I am excited by this haha.
